Welcome Winter!

I seriously can't believe that today I officially had to dress my children in scarves, hats and wool jackets just to go to the pumpkin patch! It was a cold fall week here in WI. I've had a few session cancellations due to the outdoor elements, which is completely understandable. If you think your family will be too cold outdoors, please let me know soon. Blue quiverin lips and red rosey cheeks can be challenging and I would be dissapointed if you were not happy with your finished products.

Going forward, I am closing my books for the rest of the year. My last session will be right before Thanksgiving. I will restart business again in the Spring months as my calendar is already booking up.
I also have done some indoor sessions this past year with newborns, ages 0-1 year. I will continue to offer this type of service after the turn of the year. I will no longer be offering family sessions indoors with more than 1 child. I will wait for family pictures when the grass turns green again and we can venture outdoors.

My comfort zone is definitely outdoor photography. This is how I learned my skill of photography in the south and now I now I need to brush up on my indoor skills. Until then, I will go into hibernation during the winter months and learn learn learn! I know many photogs of my element have beautiful natural light indoor studios and for that I am truly envious. Now I know why!

Regardless, I can't wait to see some of you this coming Spring.
