Lime Kiln Park, Grafton

It was another cold cold winterish day in Grafton last weekend. It didn't stop this family from joining me at the park. The fall colors were about at it's peek and it was just beautiful. Enjoy a few of my favorites from our session!

Grafton Children's Photographer

Seriously now, she has to be about one of the cutest little baby girls I know. She is just a doll. Enjoy some of our shots from my home in Grafton. What I thought was going to turn into a studio in my home, didn't necessarly do so, until I had this session. What a beautiful baby girl.

Lake Park, Lake Park Bistro

It was a chilly chilly fall day here is WI. But that didn't stop this adorable little family. Here are a few pictures from our morning! Thank you for braving the elements with me as our noses turned red by the end of the session. These kids were amazing. They just went with the flow!

Welcome Winter!

I seriously can't believe that today I officially had to dress my children in scarves, hats and wool jackets just to go to the pumpkin patch! It was a cold fall week here in WI. I've had a few session cancellations due to the outdoor elements, which is completely understandable. If you think your family will be too cold outdoors, please let me know soon. Blue quiverin lips and red rosey cheeks can be challenging and I would be dissapointed if you were not happy with your finished products.

Going forward, I am closing my books for the rest of the year. My last session will be right before Thanksgiving. I will restart business again in the Spring months as my calendar is already booking up.
I also have done some indoor sessions this past year with newborns, ages 0-1 year. I will continue to offer this type of service after the turn of the year. I will no longer be offering family sessions indoors with more than 1 child. I will wait for family pictures when the grass turns green again and we can venture outdoors.

My comfort zone is definitely outdoor photography. This is how I learned my skill of photography in the south and now I now I need to brush up on my indoor skills. Until then, I will go into hibernation during the winter months and learn learn learn! I know many photogs of my element have beautiful natural light indoor studios and for that I am truly envious. Now I know why!

Regardless, I can't wait to see some of you this coming Spring.

to be in love....

is more than just words! It is J &D. What a cute couple they are. We had so much fun, after we found each other lost in Cedarburg/Grafton! I was just so happy when they contacted me about doing an engagement session for them. It is such a great change of pace for me! Again, I love what I do, the variety is endless. Here is a little peak from our afternoon. It was just great!
I can't wait to see pictures from your destination wedding!!!!
