It was a session to remember. This beautiful family will soon be leaving the Jacksonville area and heading back "home" to the North East. Mommy wanted memories that she could hold onto as they lived here for some time. I hope you love some of your memories friend and I can't wait to get them all up and to you. We will definitely miss you when you depart but know this is the best for your family and for that, we are so extremely happy for you.
Enjoy!

to be a mom
"A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path."
-- Agatha Christie
This friend of mine is a great mom, sister, wife and friend. I don't know how you do what you do, but whatever you do, way to go! Keep up the good work. I hope you enjoy these pictures of your beautiful children. It was so cold this morning, but it didn't stop anyone from showing me their true sides! One of the best parts about this session, it came with a warm coffee offer!
Enjoy!

and then there were six
I have had a great opportunity to photograph so many huge families lately it is so much fun! Meet family "O". 2 boys, 2 girls! How perfect. It was a chilly morning here in Jacksonville as we toured the park. We had a great afternoon out and I am so thrilled with these pictures! These boys were right up my alley! Enjoy the shots.

....almost time
We have been waiting for this session for 8 months! Finally it was time to celebrate the beauty of the belly. I hope you enjoy this memory friend "R". I can't wait to get my hands on your new little girl. You better believe I'm going to be the first knocking on your door after you return from the hospital.

Now closing the books for 2008 Sessions!
I am so happy and proud of where my business has gone. I never dreamed my passion with jump start and end with a bang, all with in a few short/busy months. I've been so fortunate to meet so many wonderful families along the way, not to mention the ones I already know. What a great year it has been. I'm so excited and saddened to say, that my books for 2008 are now closed. I am now booking into the start of the New Year.
~I am not taking any more session appointments until 2009
I have so many exciting sessions coming up in the next few weeks. I do have so many more sessions to post and rave about, however, I'm knee deep in proofing. Hang tight all you people...your session is soon to make an appearance in your in-box.
Thanks again to all you for a wonderful and exciting year! I can't wait for next year.
Stay tuned for new print prices coming at the turn of the New Year~
Smiles,
Erin

Mimi and her boys!
So special! Mimi came to visit her grandchildren here in Florida and I was able to stop a moment in time for them. You see these adorable little faces all over my site, but once again, they melted my heart. Big brother "L" soaked up my attention. Little brother "A" just wanted to be left alone and explore. Some of these photos just bring a smile to my face as we rolled around on the grass trying our hardest to get little brother "A" to look at me! And..we got some great memories. The best part about a memory is, remembering a moment. These pictures paused time and we were able to remember baby "A's" little spunky fun self and Brother "L" calm, cool and collected person he is.
Enjoy~

Milestones
For every ending there is a new beginning, for every memory there is a dream ahead. Dream your dreams and start it now to make them all come true.
Graduate "M" you were a such great company. We took a long jaunt around the Museum grounds and just had a great time. What a pleasure it was to capture a Senior milestone for you. I wish you the best of luck in the days and years to come. I hope you enjoy your pictures and hold onto them for a memory! A Senior Graduation. A memory. A success. FUN!
...and wow have Senior portraits changed since I was there. I remember going to a stiff studio where they threw props at me, fixed my hair, did the hand pose etc. Times have changed and I can't believe my career path took me down this road.
I can't wait to do more Senior sessions! It was so easy and I didn't even sweat. No making funny faces behind the camera. No lying that I hear a chicken, lion, elephant or a hippo in the forest. No telling them there is a jelly bean in my camera. NOTHING! Pure relaxation! Thanks M.
I hope you enjoy your session!
oh and ps...isn't he cute!!!!

..run...run...run...RUN!
...and see if you can catch me!!!!
That was the story of this session. This little darling was sooo full of energy she just made me laugh. You all know I'm not a posing type of photographer, and this my blog readers put me to the challenge! As soon as I would get close to her, she'd run. Okay, let me rephrase. As soon as I would get close to her, she would sprint...as FAST as her little legs would go. Oh yes, did we have fun. This is what photography is ALL about. Capturing a moment...in time...a time that will soon pass as children grow. I am so blessed to have captured this moment for this family. For that, I, again, LOVE what I do!
Enjoy

...and then there was the beach
And it was my FIRST ever beach session....without my children! We had a great time. The winds were strong as the chill swept through the air, however, it didn't stop this family from adventuring out. So, here they are...my first beach session for a client. I found a few things I need to improve, like wind, but sometimes we just have to go out and enjoy it..right? Enjoy!
A fun set of four!
Another beautiful session at the Historical Museum. And check out my adorable little family. I am posting these pictures for you mommy because I know you are one of my faithful blog stalkers. I'm working very very hard to get you your pictures because I know you are so excited. So, here are a few my friend. I can't wait to email you link when they are all finished! Thank you for a fun morning out. I seriously took this family everywhere...I didn't want to stop taking pictures. I couldn't stop! Seriously....anyways...Enjoy my favorites thus far.
